Activision Blizzard Character Lockup

Worked closely with executive, brand, and legal teams to produce the official character lockup for Activision Blizzard. The image was launched externally in conjunction with COVID-19 global communications.

I produced a comprehensive library of assets (print and digital formats, email comms, presentation templates, and all social channel graphics). Typically re-designed annually, this lockup was used for internal and external global comms for 4 years.

Activision Blizzard Business Card

One priority of the internal comms team included a complete re-brand of classic corporate materials, including the business card.

I chose six iconic characters from the three operating brands—two characters each for Activision, Blizzard, and King. Using gradient maps and careful editing of character artwork, I created sleek new options for the organization.

I chose a pearlescent stock for a unique finish, topped off with an embossed, engraved clear foil to add texture to the white copy. Here is the version featuring the lovable Crash Bandicoot.

Activision Blizzard at LA Pride

It was an absolute pleasure to produce the design work for Activision Blizzard’s presence at LA Pride.

I created custom Pride logo variations, and the central branding piece was the parade bus (wrap design, motion graphics digital screen), accompanied with supplementary digital and print materials (banners, t-shirts, and online assets).

Wireframe Design for Onboarding Website

The Activision Blizzard hiring team approached me to help reinvigorate the onboarding process for new employees. I then worked directly with backend engineers to re-design the internal web pages of the company intranet.

Creating a visual approach to the process, I transformed a large text document into “gamified” steps, outlined on a home page and several sub-pages. This new onboarding hub served as the new source of truth for new hires at Activision, Blizzard, and King.

Presentation Template Design for Way2Play Initiative

Working with Activision Blizzard’s game franchise characters never fails to put a smile on my face. For an internal initiative named Way2Play, I created branded and engaging new template for teams to use as a foundation for their presentations.

I was elated to receive lovely feedback from King, one of Activision Blizzard’s business units, when they spotted the presentation in circulation and officially adopted it on their end as well.
